H.H. "Boots" Barganski

H. H. (Boots) Barganski passed away on November 17, 2020 with his family by his side.   Boots was born to the late August and Martha Barganski in Portland, Texas.  He was the youngest son in a family of 12 children.  Boots graduated from Gregory High School and then proudly served in the United States Army.  He is survived by one sister, Cecilia Schmidt, and two children: son, David (Linda) and daughter, Dana.   He is also survived by two grandchildren, David (Natalie) and John (Emily) and by two great grandchildren, Madisyn and Kyle.  Boots dearly loved vegetable gardening and canning the fruits of his labor.  He was always happy to share those homemade canned goods with friends and family.  He was also remarkable at visualizing any type of building project and making that project come to life, all without any written plans.  He will be remembered and missed by many.
Graveside services will take place at 10:00 am Friday, November 20, 2020, at the Gregory, Texas cemetery.
