Hector M. Zapata

Hector M. Zapata Sr. passed away on Wednesday, January 1, 2020 at the age of 61 years old. He was born on April 2, 1958 in Raymondville, Texas to Francisco Zapata and Dominga Medrano. He was preceded in death by both of his Parents, Brother Oscar M. Zapata, 3 Aunts: Anita M. Resio, Odilia M. Sandoval, Maria M. DeLeon, 2 Uncles: Francisco Sanchez, Alfredo Medrano Sr. and his Father in Law Juan C. Gonzalez.

He was survived by his loving wife of 42 years Mary Zapata, 2 Daughters: Priscilla (Quirino) Jasso, Lisa Marie Zapata, 1 Son Hector Zapata Jr., 2 Sisters: Celestina (George) Moreno, Lori Ann Trejo, Step Father Ted Almeida, 2 half Sisters: Frances Zapata, Rachel Zapata, 3 Aunts: Amelia (Vicente) Marin, Erlinda (Francisco) Soliz, Juanita (Ruben) Estrada, 2 Uncles: Ruben (Lupita) Medrano Sr., and Jose (Frances) Medrano and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 11a.m to 5 p.m on Tuesday, January 7, 2020 at Dobie Funeral Home. Holy Rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, January 7, 2020 at Sacred Heart Church. Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, January 8, 2020 at Sacred Heart Church followed by Interment to Descanso Eterno II.
