Harold Edward Phelps

Harold Edward "Eddie" Phelps, 59, passed away April 30, 2011. Eddie was born October 16, 1950 in Albuquerque, New Mexico to Thurston "Teen" Harvey Phelps, Sr. and Clara Juanita Phelps. He grew up in Odessa, Texas where he graduated high school and met his wife Jody Phelps.
They moved to Portland, Texas in 1979 where they raised their three children, Garrick, Trenton, and Caitlin. He worked at the Wal-Mart in Aransas Pass, Texas as a greeter, which he greatly loved.
Eddie is preceded in death by his father and mother, "Teen" and Juanita Phelps of Andrews, Texas and his two siblings Diana Thacker (sister), and Thurston Harvey Phelps Jr."Sonny" (brother).
He is survived by his wife Jody Phelps, his two sons Garrick of Corpus Christi, Texas and Trenton Phelps of Parkersburg, West Virginia, and his daughter Caitlin Giles of Corpus Christi, Texas and her husband Gentry Giles. He also has two granddaughters, Cadence Phelps and Tiece Giles. And there are several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held from 4:00 to 8:00 PM, Wednesday, May 4, 2011 at the Limbaugh Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM, Thursday, May 5, 2011 at the Limbaugh Funeral Home. Interment to follow at the Palms Memorial Gardens.
