Guadalupe Rosales Medrano

Guadalupe "Lupita" Medrano went home to our Heavenly Father, and with the Love of her life on Monday, July 10, 2023. She was born in Robstown, Texas on May 11, 1943 to Ricardo and Elena (Gonzales) Rosales Sr.  Preceded in death by both of her Parents; Husband Ruben Medrano Sr.; 4 Sisters Emilia R. Roldan, Maria Elena R. Ramos, Elida R. Gonzales, Elidia R. Mendez ; 7 brothers Guillermo Rosales, Guadalupe Rosales, Ricardo Rosales Jr., Jose Rosales, Gilberto Rosales, Juan Rosales, Roberto Rosales; Son in law Rosendo Gonzalez; 2 Grandchildren Faith Acuna, Angelica Medrano. 

Mrs. Medrano's memory will be cherished by: 3 Daughters Rosalinda (Clemente) Padron, Maria Delia Medrano-Gonzalez, Delma (Rito) Acuna; 6 Sons Reynaldo (Ernestina) Medrano Sr.; Roberto (Diana) Medrano, Ramiro (Cynthia) Medrano, Rene (Oneida) Medrano, Ruben (Josette) Medrano Jr., Randy (Roxanne) Medrano; 27 Grandchildren; 35 Great-Grandchildren; 4 Sisters Francisca R. Morales, Consuelo R. Garza, Maria R. Olivarez, Adela R. Cantu; 2 Brothers Jesus Rosales, Hector Rosales; Countless Nieces and Nephews and many Friends. 

Pallbearers will be Reynaldo Medrano Jr., Reynaldo "Tres" Medrano III, Christopher Padron, Joseph Ryan Medrano, Ruben Estevan Medrano, Dominic Ryan Padron, Marcos Enrique Medrano, Jose Clemente "JC" Padron.

Visitation will be at 1pm -4pm on Sunday at Dobie Funeral Home. Visitation will resume at 6pm and Holy Rosary at 7pm at Sacred Heart Church. Funeral Mass will be Monday at 10am at Sacred Heart Church followed by interment to Cenizo Hill.

Guardian Angels Quilting Ministry of Sacred Heart Catholic Church was established on September 9, 2019 with the purpose of sewing quilts for the sick and those in need of prayer.  Each quilt must have a cross on it along with a cut out of the Sacred Heart and Medal.  The quilts are blessed at Sacred Heart Church. Currently the ministry has 9 ladies that meet each Tuesday morning to pray for the recipients and sew new quilts.   The ministry is supported solely by donations and occasional sales. As of today we have given out 460 blessed prayer quilts.
