Gianna "Gigi" Jade Nichole Guerrero, a beautiful light in the lives of her family and friends, passed away on June 25, 2025, in Corpus Christi, Texas. Born on February 18, 2022, in the same city, Gigi's vibrant spirit touched the hearts of everyone who knew her, despite her fleeting time with us.
Gigi was the beloved daughter of Isabella and Armando Guerrero. She was enveloped in the love, warmth, and affection of her parents and her siblings: Leonard Reign, Loveigh Joselyn, Sophie Rose, Ava Joy, and Catalyna Grace.
Additionally, she is also survived by her maternal grandparents, Ricardo Gonzales and Ruben and Melissa Amador, and her paternal grandparents, Orlando Guerrero and Irene Hernandez. Gigi was also blessed to have maternal great-grandparents, Jose and Janie Zamora and Ricardo and Marylou Gonzales Sr., as well as her paternal great-grandparents, Alfredo Hernandez and San Juanita Hernandez.
Gigi's brief journey in this world brought a unique joy that enriched her family’s lives irrevocably. Every loving figure in Gigi’s life, which also includes numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins, as well has her nurses, showered her with the attention, adoration, and everlasting love that every child deserves. Gigi is preceded in death by a precious sister, Leilani Raelynn, whom she now shares a sacred connection with.
As we gather to honor and remember the life of Gianna "Gigi" Jade Nichole Guerrero, let us come together to reflect on the love and the happiness she brought. A visitation will take place on Tuesday, July 1, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 9:00 PM, at Winsteads' Funeral Home, followed by a Prayer Service at 7:00 PM. A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, July 2, 2025, starting at 10:00 AM, at Winsteads' Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Descanso Eterno II at 11:00 AM.
Justin Ybarbo, along with her grandfathers Orlando Guerrero, Ruben Amador, Ricardo Gonzales will have the honor of carrying her to her final resting place.
Gigi's memory will remain a cherished part of her family's hearts—a tapestry woven with love and innocence, a gentle reminder of the beauty of life, however fleeting it may be. May she rest in peace, wrapped in the loving embrace of both her family and the eternity that awaits.
