Gerald James Schmidt Jr.

Gerald James Schmidt Jr. "Smitty" passed away on Monday December 23, 2019 at the age of 72. He was born on October 20, 1947 in Sinton, Texas to Gerald James Schmidt Sr. and Marjorie Dobie Schmidt. He was preceded in death by his parents and his daughter Carrie Schmidt.

He was survived by his Son Jason (Samantha) Schmidt, Former Wife Linda Schmidt, Sister Sherry (Mike) Havelka, Brother Stanley (Debbie) Schmidt, 6 Grandchildren: Peyton, Kaedyn, Brogan, Rowdi, Twyster, and Kooper, Numerous Nieces and Nephews.

Pallbearers: Kyle Schmidt, Chris Havelka, Will Holder, Phillip Zimmerhanzel, Michael Winsauer, W.R (Billy) Schmidt III, Robert (Bobby) Schmidt, and John Steelhammer.

Holy Rosary will be recited at 9:15 a.m and Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. on Monday December 30, 2019 at Sacred Heart Church in Mathis, Texas, followed by Interment to Cenizo Hill.
