Genoveva "Lala" Trevino Munoz

Genoveva "Lala" Trevino Munoz, of Mathis, Texas beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great-grandmother and sister, passed on August 26, 2020. Lala was born in Pawnee, Texas on August 10, 1944, the second born to Pedro and Maria Trevino. Lala is preceded in death by her son Joaquin, Parents Pedro and Maria Trevino, and brother Severo Trevino. 

Lala is survived by her husband of 61 years Cirildo Munoz Sr.; seven sons Robert (Sylvia) Munoz Sr., Cirildo (Anita) Munoz Jr., Martin (Beatriz)Munoz Sr., Rosbel (Gracie) Munoz Sr., Apolinar Munoz, Desidoro Munoz, and Reynaldo Munoz; two daughters Eloisa (Regino) Aguirre, and Elva (Gilbert) Garcia. Lala has 34 grandchildren and one on the way, 37 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren; three brothers Santos (Sara) Trevino, Pedro Trevino, and Jose Trevino; one sister Janie (Joe) Zamora. She also leaves behind her nieces and nephews. 

Pallbearers will be her grandsons Martin Munoz Jr., Marty Munoz, Michael Munoz, Cirildo Munoz III, Rosbel Munoz Jr.(RJ) and Jason Munoz.

Visitation will start at 11:00 a.m. and Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 30, 2020. Funeral Mass will be at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, August 31, 2020 followed by interment to Descanso Eterno II.
