Fermin Tijernia Flores

 Fermin Tijernia Flores, age 63, of Mathis went home to the Heavenly Father with his loving family at his side on June 28, 2018.  Fermin was born July 7, 1954 in Mathis to Francisco and Guadalupe Flores.  He was preceded in death by his mother Guadalupe Flores, brother Alex Flores, nephews Ezekeil Sanchez and Gerald Olivarez, nieces Anabelle Flores, Primadonna Flores and Stephanie Cantu, brother-in-law Ray Gonzales and sister-in-law Mira Flores.He is survived by his father Francisco Flores along with his four loving children Monique (Juan) Gonzales, Chelsey (Desiree) Banda-Flores, Marcus Flores and Brittany Flores, his four grandchildren Trey, Tristen and Journey Gonzales, and Calliope Banda-Flores.  He is also survived by his fifteen brothers and sisters Juan (Rosa) Flores, Isidro (Adel) Flores, Frank (Marilyn) Flores, Albert (Adela) Flores, David (Esther) Flores, Ricky (Helen) Flores, Raymond Flores, Jessie (Noelia) Flores and George (Joanna) Flores, Tina (Santiago) Olivarez, Inez (Johnny) Sanchez, Yolanda (Rey) Davila, Mary Gonzales, Jeannie (David)  Cantu and Elizabeth Flores.Rosary will be recited at 7 p.m on Sunday July 1 at Dobie Funeral Home Chapel.  Mass will be at 10 a.m. Monday July 2 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Mathis.  Interment will follow in Descanso Eterno #2 Cemetery.
