Felipe Mendoza

Felipe Rocha Mendoza passed away August 22, 2021 at the age of 65. He was born May 26, 1956 to Tomasa (Rocha) and Valentin Mendoza in Sinton, Texas.  He worked as a farmer for 27 years and was employed by Joel Huskinson Farms.  Felipe was a loving father, grandfather, brother and friend who will be missed by all who knew him.

He was preceded in death by his brother Augustine Mendoza. He is survived by his sons Felipe Mendoza, Jr of Houston, Reynaldo Fonseca Jr, (Crystal) of Houston, Adrian Lee Mendoza of Taft; daughters Margarita Barrios of Houston, Rebecca Mendoza (Nathan Hinojosa) of Portland; 9 grandchildren; brothers Juan Mendoza (Alicia), Roland Mendoza (Linda), Cirildo Mendoza (Gloria); sister Maryann Ortiz and a sister-in-law Juanita Mendoza.

A visitation will be held from 5:00 - 7:00 PM, Thursday, August 26, 2021 at Winsteads' Funeral Home in Portland, Texas. Funeral services will be at 10:00 AM Friday, August 27, 2021 also at Winsteads' Funeral Home. Interment to follow at The Palms Memorial Gardens.
