Felipa R. Ortiz, 85, passed away Thursday, January 9, 2014 in Corpus Christi, Texas. She was born August 23, 1928 in Alice, Texas. She is preceded in death by her husband Ramon Ortiz Sr., two sons Reynaldo Ortiz Sr., and Rogelio Ortiz, daughter Rose Mary Guerrero. She is survived by four sons, Ramon (Ruth) Ortiz Jr. of Gregory, TX, Richard (Norma) Ortiz of Pflugerville, TX, Ruben (San Janina) Ortiz, Sr. of Gregory, TX, Reymundo (Sylvia S.) Ortiz Sr. of Rockport, TX; three daughters Isabel O. Rios of Gregory, TX, Rosa Ida Macias of Galena Park, TX, and Rachel Ortiz of Corpus Christi, TX; 24 grandchildren; 38 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held from 9:00 am to 9:00 pm, Sunday, January 12, 2014 at the Limbaugh Funeral Home with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 pm that same evening. A funeral mass will be celebrated at 10:00 am, Monday, January 13, 2014 at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Gregory, TX. Burial to follow at the Gregory Cemetery.
