Ester E. Rangel

Ester E. Rangel born March 9, 1941, in Goliad, Texas passed away February 3, 2022 at the age of 80.

She was preceded in death by her husband Concepcion Rangel and son David Rangel. She is survived by her son Daniel E. (Susie) Rangel; daughter Cynthia Rangel (Roxanne); daughter-in-law Maggie Rangel; granddaughters Brittany (Derek) Cox, Jessica (Daniel) Franco; and one grandson Ryan (Jade) Rangel. Als her brothers Clyde Escobedo, Ernest Escobedo, Robert Escobedo and Santos Escobedo.

She was a loving, caring mother, sister, aunt, grandmother, and great-grandmother to Camille Cox, Charlotte Cox, Carter Cox, Reed Rangel and Zeke Franco.

She was also a devoted member of the Immaculate Conception Church in Gregory. Visitation will be held from 5:00 – 7:00pm Friday, February 11, 2022 at Winsteads’ Funeral Home, with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00pm that same evening. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00am Saturday, February 12, 2022 at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Gregory with interment to follow at the Palms Memorial Gardens.
