Erasmo V. Huerta Sr.

Mr. Erasmo V. Huerta Sr. passed away Tuesday, April 27, 2021 in Mathis, Texas.  He was born on November 25, 1931 in Karnes City, Texas to Eufracio and Paula Huerta. He is preceded in death by his Wife, Oralia Huerta; Sisters, Ofilia Garza; and Brother, Joe Cavazos.

Left to cherish Mr. Huerta's memory are his Daughters, Anita (Joe) Leija, San Juanita (Adam) Moreno Jr.; Son, Erasmo Huerta; Sisters, Defina Morin, Betty Leos, Beatrice Juarez, Julie Hernandez, Sylvia Garza, Margarita Huerta; Brother Pedro (Cristela) Cavazos.

Mr. Erasmo Huerta served in United States Army and fought in the Korean War.

Pallbearers are Erasmo Huerta III, Ezequiel Huerta, Amadeus Leija, Edmund Huerta, Adan Moreno III and Fabien Mendoza.

Visitation for Mr. Huerta will be at 2:00 pm and Holy Rosary will be recited at 7:00 pm on Sunday, May 2, 2021 at Dobie Funeral Home. Funeral Mass will be at 10:00 am on Monday, May 3, 2021 at Sacred Heart Church followed by internment to Descanso Eterno II in Mathis, Texas.
