Elaine Rose McCown

Elaine Rose McCown went home with our Heavenly Father on Friday, September 23, 2022 at the age of 89. She was born in Robstown, Texas on January 14, 1933, to Frank and Bessie Vavra Woytek.

Mrs. McCown married the love of her life Paul Wesley McCown Sr on September 4, 1950 and had 6 children. She was devoted to Saint Patrick Catholic Church in San Patricio, Texas. She served there as a Eucharistic Minster and Altar Society. She retired after 23 years from Mathis ISD as a Food Service Operator Manager and was part of the San Patricio County 4H and FFA Chapters.

Left to cherish her loving memory are her 6 children Paul (Sue) McCown Jr.; Eddy Ray McCown, Elizabeth (Leonard) Kruse, Earl Dean (Kathy) McCown Sr., Christopher (Lisa) McCown and Christine Feuge; 13 Grandchildren; 30 Great-Grandchildren; 4 Great-Great Grandchildren; 2 Sister in laws Docia Woytek, Marjorie Woytek. Preceded in death by both of her Parents, Frank and Bessie Woytek; Husband, Paul McCown Sr.; 2 Sisters and 2 Brothers.

Pallbearers:  Christopher McCown, Earl Dean McCown Jr., Trey Feuge, Paul Wesley McCown III, Trevor Bean, Travis Bean.

Visitation will be at 5pm, and Rosary at 7 pm on Friday, September 30, 2022, at Dobie Funeral Home. Funeral Mass will be at 10 am Saturday, October 1, 2022, at Saint Patrick Catholic Church in San Patricio, Tx. Followed by interment to San Patrick cemetery.
