Eladia G. Hinojosa

Eladia (Yaya) Gonzalez Hinojosa, age 73, died October 13, 2015. She was born on February 18, 1942 in Sodville, Texas. She was preceded in death by her father Luis Gonzalez; mother Santana Ramirez; husband Juan Trevino Hinojosa; son Juan (Johnny) Hinojosa III; great-grandson Juan Joseph (JJ) Gonzales; brothers Luis Jr. and Roberto Gonzalez; sisters Petra Sosa Cavellero and Alexandria Gonzalez. Survivors are her children Joanne (Emmanuel) Castillo, Taft, Samuel Hinojosa, Norma (Vicente) Fonseca, Jessica (Leonardo) Naranjo, Portland; brothers Benito, Raul, Samuel, and Felix Gonzalez; sisters Rosa (Felipe) Carranza, California, Dominga (Edwardo), Chicago, Maria (Carlos) Medina, Lamesa, and Sylvia Martinez, Odessa; nine grandchildren Jessica T. Johnson, Janice T. Hall, Joann Tijerina, Juan IV, Jolynn Hinojosa, Houston, Paul (Alicia) Martinez, Michael Martinez, Christina Hinojosa, and Sammy Hinojosa Jr.; 20 great-grandchildren Ashley Tijerina, Jacob Borgstrom, Mark, Joshua & Stephen Hall, Evelynn, Natalie, Juan Hinojosa IV, Kylie Tijerina, Isaiah Hinojosa, Fernando Martinez, Neveah Saaverda, Lilliana, Nalani, Samuel Hinojosa III, Michael Jr., Allen Martinez, Draven, Chase & Jason (JJ) Martinez; and lots of nieces, nephews, cousins, brother and sister in-laws, and friends who all loved her very much.

A rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, October 22, 2015 at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church in Portland.
