Donna Rae Walters

Donna Walters, 56, passed away Monday, December 30, 2013. Donna was born November 11, 1957 in Salina, Kansas. Donna graduated from Kansas State University with a Masters Degree as a Certified Special Education Teacher. Donna was a special education teacher at the Gregory-Portland Junior High. Donna's focus and objective was to the children and their success, and the care of her mother. Donna is survived by her mother Maedine Walters of Portland, TX; two sisters Kay McLaughlin of Phoenix, AZ, Deanna Gould of Seattle, WA; two brothers Ron Walters of Austin, TX, rick Walters of Salina, KS; 16 nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM, Thursday, January 2, 2014 at the Limbaugh Funeral Home in Portland, TX with Pastor Bruce Goodlock officiating. In lieu of flowers memorial gifts may be made to the Gregory-Portland ISD, benefit of Special Education Students, Memo: Donna Walters, mail or drop off at the Limbaugh Funeral Home.
