IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Diane Louise
Johnson
May 5, 1959 – February 10, 2026
Diane Louise Johnson, born on May 5, 1959, in the small town of Mathis, Texas, was a remarkable woman whose vibrant spirit touched the hearts of everyone she encountered. She passed away peacefully on February 10, 2026, in Corpus Christi, Texas, leaving behind a legacy that will forever shine brightly in the memories of her loved ones.
A proud 1977 graduate of Mathis High School, Diane embarked on a fulfilling career journey that began with GTE, where she worked diligently until her departure in 1988. Following her time with GTE, she found joy in working for Propane Fleet, where her cheerful personality and quick wit continued to make an impact on those around her.
Diane was always the life of the party, drawing in friends and family with her infectious laughter and beautiful smile. She had a keen sense of humor that never failed to lighten the mood. Sundays were especially cherished by Diane as she immersed herself in the excitement of football, passionately cheering for her beloved Dallas Cowboys. In addition to her love for football, Diane was an adventurous soul with many passions. She found peace in fishing, delight in shopping, and joy in visiting the Amish community. One of her favorite pastimes was savoring delicious raw oysters, surrounded by family and friends who relished in her company.
Above all, Diane was a dedicated caretaker to her family. She married her adoring husband Timothy Johnson on July 10, 2004. Together, they raised a beautiful family. She was a devoted mother to her children, Stephanie, Brandon, Joseph, Tamra, and Tara. She also openly embraced her role as a grandmother, creating an unbreakable bond with her grandchildren, Alex, Nic, Jayden, Brady, Declan, Dillon, Alyssa, Madison, Rylee, and Peyton. She will be dearly missed by her family as they carry her spirit with them in their hearts.
Diane is reunited with her husband, Timothy Johnson, along with her father, George Hahn. She leaves her memories and legacy to her children, Stephanie Canada (Todd), Brandon Canada (Renee), Joseph Johnson (Kristy), Tamra Roberts (Pat), and Tara Morales (Paul); grandchildren, Alex, Nic, Jayden, Brady, Declan, Dillon, Alyssa, Madison, Rylee, and Peyton; mother, Fayetta McCown Bender; siblings, Dale Hahn (Becky) and Darryl Hahn (Nora); and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
The family wishes to extend their heartfelt gratitude to Debbie and Ralph Rivera, long-time best friends of Diane and her family, for all the love and support they generously offered throughout Diane's life.
With every fond memory shared, every laugh remembered, and every loving thought that passes through her family’s minds, Diane Louise Johnson’s spirit will forever resonate, reminding us all to appreciate the moments we have and to live life to its fullest.
A Celebration of Life to honor Diane's legacy will be announced at a later date.
