David F. Guerrero

David F. Guerrero, 72 died August 8, 2018 while riding his bicycle in Leesville Louisiana.  Mr. Guerrero is survived by his son, David Guerrero, daughter-in-law, Sarah and daughter, Shelly Guerrero.  He also leaves behind two grandsons, David and Dante Guerrero and many brothers and sisters.  He is preceded in death by his grandmother, Porfiria Sabedra, and his parents.
Guerrero is a veteran of the Vietnam War, where he earned several medals, including the Purple Heart and Bronze Star. He served twenty years in the US Army as a pilot and retired in August 1984.  He loved nature, reading and bicycling. He was adored by his grandsons and will be missed tremendously. A graveside service will be held at 10:00 am, Tuesday, August 14, 2018 at the Gregory Cemetery.
