David C Douglas

David Clark Douglas a 52 yr old resident of Riviera Tx passed away Wednesday June 22,2022 after a long hard battle with cancer. His wife, sons, mother & sister in law were by his side when he passed.

David was born to Damon Douglas & Pamela Eaton Douglas in Athens TX where he grew up. Soon after he moved to the TX Coast & was an avid saltwater fisherman & quite the dead eye with a shotgun. More times than not he would get his limit of dove with less than a box of 410 shells. David was a dedicated & loving husband to Patience and an amazing father to their two sons Hunter & Fischer. He never met a stranger & had so many wonderful friends that came to sit with him during his last days recounting old times.

David Loved Hard, worked hard and played harder… He loved God, he loved his family and he loved good ole country music.

David is survived by his wife Patience Douglas and sons Hunter Michael Douglas and Fischer Clark Douglas, Mother Pamela E Douglas, father and stepmother Damon and Pam Douglas, brother Drew Douglas and wife Lori, stepsister Erin Harrison and husband Carl, and 2 nephews and 5 nieces.

David was pre-deceased by his sister, Janet and his grandparents.

A celebration of life will be held in the fall at Port Mansfield. Date & time to be announced.
