Danny Lee Ganson

Danny Lee Ganson, known by many as “Daneaux” passed away May 30, 2023 at the age of 67. He was born February 6, 1956 to Woodrow “Woody” and Dorothy “Dot” Ganson. He worked with CBI & Bay LTD and retired with Bay in 2022. Danny loved cooking and barbecuing for his friends and family, Green Bay Packers, hanging with his Bay family brothers swapping tales and lies, fishing, and just making folks laugh. He never met a stranger and made lifelong friends wherever he went.

He was preceded in death by his parents, sister Ruth Ganson Sherman and son Jeremy McCune. He is survived by his wife Rachal Wagner Ganson of 21 years; children Cecil Carter, Jon (Chelsea) Carter and Ryan Ganson; brother Collin (Charmaine) Ganson; Grandchildren Amber Carter, Lane Carter , Ryder Carter, Dustin Manger, Brittany Greer, Hunter McCune and Alex McCune. He also leaves behind his mother-in-law Maxine Turnipseed, brother-in-law Junior (Nancy) Wagner, sister-in-law Benita (Wade) Dees and many nieces and nephews.

John 14:1-4  Do not let your hearts be troubled. You believe in God; believe also in me. 2 My Father’s house has many rooms; if that were not so, would I have told you that I am going there to prepare a place for you? 3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am. 4 You know the way to the place where I am going.”

A visitation will be held from 1:00-2:00 p.m. Saturday, June 24, 2023 with a memorial service to follow at 2:00 p.m. at Winsteads’ Funeral Home in Portland.
