Clayton Douglas Glover

Clayton Douglas Glover was born May 1, 1941 in Shelby, North Carolina.  He passed away July 31, 2018 at his home in Portland, Texas surrounded by his family.  He grew up and attended school in Ingleside, Texas where he played all sports and especially loved baseball.  He attended Del Mar College in Corpus Christi, Texas and Cisco Junior College in Cisco, Texas. 

He retired from Reynolds Sherwin plant after 46 years as a millwright foreman.  He coached Little League baseball for several years.  He loved gardening, woodworking and golf.  He was a very kind, quiet, gentle man who had a great sense of humor. 

He is preceded in death by his father, Wendell Douglas Glover and his mother, Edna Francis (Poston) Glover.  He is survived by his wife, Drusilla “Deany” Glover; son: Daniel Clayton Glover (Julianne).  Granddaughter, Sawyer Kay Glover; grandson, Clayton Randall Glover; brothers:  Bobby Glover and Aubie Glover (Mellissa) and sister:  Joy Felihkatubbee.  He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends. 

Visitation will be held Sunday, August 5, 2018 at Limbaugh Funeral Home from 5:00 – 7:00 PM.  Services will be conducted on Monday, August 6, 2018 at 2:00 PM at Limbaugh Funeral Home with burial in Live Oak County at Clegg Cemetery on Tuesday, August 7, 2018 at 10:30 AM.
