Carlos R. Rodriguez

Carlos Ramos Rodriguez, 79, passed away with his loving family by his side. He was born on August 21, 1945 to Teofilo Rodriguez and Maria De Jesus Ramos Rodriguez in Taft, Texas. Carlos worked for CPL/AEP for 22 years as an operator/ supervisor and 9 years for Austin Energy as an operator.

He was preceded in death by his parents Teofilo and Maria De Jesus Rodriguez; brothers Espirio Rodriguez, Boneficio Rodriguez, Juan Rodriguez, Alfredo Rodriguez and Salvador Rodriguez and his sisters Antonia Rodriguez Riojas and Minerva Rodriguez Lopez. He is survived by his wife Mary Rodriguez from Portland, Texas; son Charles Michael Rodriguez  from Berkeley, California and his sister Rosalinda Arroyo (Pedro) and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held from 5:00-7:00 p.m. Monday, June 30, 2025 at Winsteads’ Funeral Home in Portland, with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, July 1, 2025 at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church in Portland with interment to follow at The Palms Memorial Gardens, 4335 CR 3567, Portland, Texas.
