Camelia Perez, beloved wife, devoted mother, treasured sister, and cherished friend, passed away on August 19, 2026, at the age of 59. Born on December 15, 1966, Camelia's journey through life was marked by selflessness, unwavering faith, and an enduring devotion to her family.

Through the years, Camelia nurtured a home that overflowed with warmth, laughter, and love. As a homemaker, she dedicated herself to creating a welcoming space—where the door was always open and the kitchen full of delicious aromas. Her home was the heart of countless gatherings, where family stories were shared, bonds deepened, and love was celebrated.

Camelia's joy radiated through the simplest of moments: she lit up when cooking for those she loved, finding happiness in every homemade dish. Her family remembers fondly the way she brought everyone together around the table, with her warmth as nourishing as the food she prepared. Camelia also treasured shopping excursions—whether to find a special gift or simply delight in the beauty of the world around her.

A woman of deep faith, Camelia was a dedicated member of the Pentecostal Church for thirty-three years. Her faith shaped every part of her life, a guiding light that brought her peace, strength, and purpose. The church community became an extension of her family, a place where her kindness and generosity touched many lives.

She found great joy in spending time with her loved ones—her happiest moments were always in their company. Whether sharing laughter over a family meal, gathering for celebrations big and small, or settling in to watch Korean Novelas on Netflix, or hearing Inspiracion Cristiana, Camelia delighted in togetherness. She held a special fondness for eating Chinese food, often turning a simple outing or takeout meal into a cherished family memory.

Camelia’s legacy lives on in the family she loved so deeply. She is survived by her husband Miguel Angel Perez, who was her steadfast partner and soulmate; her daughters Claudia Iveth Mendoza and her husband Joel, Camelia Garcia and her husband Oscar, and Monica Lizzeth Perez Falcon; her son Miguel Angel Perez Falcon; her siblings Carolina, Maria Elena, Marisol, and Lucy Falcon Raygosa; and her brothers Gilberto, Cesar Leonel, and Marco Aurelio Falcon Raygosa. Each one carries forward pieces of Camelia—her kindness, her faith, her laughter, and her unconditional love.

Camelia is preceded in death by her parents, her beloved sister Sandra Falcon Raygosa and brother Abram Falcon Raygosa. Though gone, their memory remains an enduring comfort and reminder of the bonds that unite a family across the years and through generations.

Camelia Perez’s time on earth was a gift to all who knew her. Her gentle heart, steadfast faith, and devotion to family will remain forever in the hearts of those she touched. As her loved ones come together to mourn her passing and celebrate her remarkable life, they carry with them the spirit of her love—which, like every precious memory she created, will remain an everlasting light.

The family welcomes friends and loved ones to honor Camelia’s life and legacy at the following services: Visitation will be held at Winsteads’ Funeral Home, 121 N Duval St., Mathis, TX, on September 1, 2026, beginning at 3:00 p.m., followed by a Prayer Service at 6:00 p.m. The Funeral Service will take place at the same location on September 2, 2026, at 10:00 a.m., with burial to follow at Tom Mathis Cemetery, Mathis, TX, at 11:15 a.m.
