Betty Janecek

Betty Ann (Halbrook) Janecek was born May 25, 1936 and passed away on January 11, 2021. She is preceded in death by her parents Margaret Hall and Bill Halbrook. She is survived by her husband of 62 years Herbert C. Janecek; children Theresa Janecek, James Edward Janecek, Lilly, Cyril Janecek and Esther, Margaret and Rob Hampton; Grandchildren Tristan Janecek, Katie, Claire, and Luke Hampton. Betty graduated from Incarnate Word Academy High school in 1954 and went to Business School. Betty was a member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church in Portland, Texas for 47 years, a member of the Choir for over 40 years, and a member of Catholic Daughters of America. She became a member of St. Patrick’s Church after moving to Corpus Christi, Texas. She also worked as a bookkeeper for many years. Retired in 2008 from Imperial Mill&Fixtures. Visitation will be from 4:00 PM - 6:00 PM on Monday January 18, 2021 with a Rosary at 6:00 PM at Limbaugh Funeral Home. Funeral Mass will begin at 10:00 AM on Tuesday January 19, 2021 at St. Patrick’s Church in Corpus Christi. Burial will follow at 2:00 PM at the Coastal Bend State Veterans Cemetery in Corpus Christi.
