Obituary

Belinda Lee Bickham, born October 6, 1952, of Mathis, Texas, passed away peacefully at her home on Friday, May 22, 2026.

Belinda was a tough and hardworking woman who loved the simple joys of country life and took great pride in her 50 acres in South Texas. She enjoyed raising cattle, caring for her horses, and spending time outdoors on the land she loved. Her strength, determination, and work ethic were evident in everything she did. She also treasured traveling and making memories in the Grand Cayman and in Mexico with the love of her life, Charlie. Those adventures and the life they shared were among her most cherished memories.

Belinda was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Bickham; her mother, Vera Taylor; her father, Harold Williamson; her sisters, Olivia O’Connor and Mary Durham; and her bonus son, Charles Weston Bickham.

She is lovingly survived by her nephew, Jimmy Seago and wife Heather; her great-niece, Jenna Mensik and husband Haiden; her great-nephew, Jared Seago and wife Ally; nephew Justin Lambert; nephew John Lambert and wife Gaylynn; nephew Lance Lambert and wife Sara; niece Jan Owen; numerous great-nieces and great-nephews; bonus daughter, Kristine Arthur and husband Rick; daughter, Kassandra Bickham; Belinda’s close friend, Allen Tiemann; and countless dear friends whose lives she touched.

A memorial service will be held from 3 pm until 5 pm on Friday, June 5, 2026, at Winsteads' Funeral Home.

Belinda will be remembered for her strength, her hardworking spirit, her love of family, and the joy she found both at home on her land and traveling with those she loved. She will be deeply missed and forever cherished by all who knew her.
