Beatriz Ortiz

Beatriz Ortiz, 86, of Kingsville, Tx. passed away on February 4, 2024. She was born on July 29, 1937 in Alice, Tx. to Placido and Jesusa Garcia. Mrs. Ortiz was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, Great-great grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. She was preceded in death by her husband Felix Ortiz, her parents Placido and Jesusa Garcia, her brother Rene Garcia and Hector Garcia.

She is survived by her son and caregiver Arturo Ortiz, and sons David Ortiz, Danny (Norami) Ortiz, Carlos (Anise) Ortiz, daughters Sylvia Ortiz, Esmeralda (Bryan) Megee, Belinda Ortiz Flores, siblings Maggie (Raul) Vela, Lupe (Minerva) Garcia, she is also survived by many grand children, great grandchildren, and great- great grandchildren who were blessed to have her in their lives. She will be dearly and greatly missed by all who knew her.

A visitation will be held from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. on February 8, 2024 at Kingsville Memorial Funeral Home Chapel, with a rosary at 7:00 P.M. that same evening. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 A.M. on February 9, 2024 at St. Gertrude Catholic Church. Interment to follow at Chamberlain Cemetery.
