Beatrice Martinez, a beloved daughter, sister, aunt, and friend, was born on June 8, 1964, in Mathis, Texas. She peacefully passed away on April 23, 2026, in Willis, Texas, surrounded by her loving family. Known for her kind and loving nature, Beatrice touched the hearts of many with her generosity and warmth.

From the very beginning, Beatrice’s life was an embodiment of kindness. She was known for always being ready to lend a helping hand, often putting the needs of others before her own. Whether it was a family member facing challenges, a friend needing support, or a neighbor seeking comfort, Beatrice’s compassionate spirit stood as a beacon of hope and love. Her willingness to help cultivated a sense of community where laughter and love thrived.

Beatrice had a vibrant personality that could light up any room with her sparkling and contagious fits of giggles. She cherished late-night phone calls with her family members and friends, which brought her endless joy. She lived life with a gentle humor that made people laugh and feel treasured.

Bowling alleys were also familiar grounds for Beatrice, where she relished in friendly competition. She enjoyed garage sales like little treasure hunts that revealed her knack for finding bargains and delightful surprises. Fishing brought her moments of quiet reflection and peace with beautiful scenery. Above all, Beatrice loved savoring the company of her cherished family.

Beatrice is reunited with her parents, Amelia Villarreal Martinez and Severiano Martinez Sr.; two brothers, Ramiro Martinez and Mario Martinez; niece, Sonya Vanecek; and nephew, Alex Martinez. She leaves her memories to her loving circle of siblings, Juan (Soyla) Moreno, Severiano Martinez Jr., Baldemar (Mary) Martinez, Manuel (Lacey) Martinez, Rene (Eva) Martinez, Olivia (Lee) Gunter, and Lucy Martinez. She also leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, and friends.

Visitation will begin at 5 PM on Wednesday, April 29, 2026, at Winsteads' Funeral Home, where a Holy Rosary will be recited that same evening at 7 PM. Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 10 AM on Thursday, April 30, 2026, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Rite of Committal and Interment will follow at Descanso Eterno II Cemetery.

Beatrice Martinez's light of kindness, laughter, and unwavering love continues to shine brightly in the hearts of those who knew her.
