Annette Zimmerman-Perez

Annette Garcia Zimmerman-Perez, aged 58, passed away on November 18, 2024, in San Antonio, TX. Born on June 28, 1966, Annette was always with a warm smile and a gentle hand. Known for her boundless love and kindness, she dedicated her life to her family and community, embodying a spirit of generosity that touched all who knew her. 

Annette spent many years as a home maker, creating adventures and nurturing environments for her family. She later transitioned to a successful career in banking, where she spent 20 years at Rally Credit Union, working her way up to branch manager before her recent retirement. 

She leaves behind her beloved husband, Jaime Perez; children Jessica and Jeremy Perez, David and Generosa Zimmerman, Bethany and Rob Golden, and Jose and Jessimar Perez; and her cherished grandchildren Evangeline, Jose, Magnolia, Emilia, and Clementine. Annette was the treasured daughter of Inez and Lydia Garcia and Alicia and Alfonso Gonzalez. She will also be fondly remembered by her many siblings, nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, November 30th, from 3-5 p.m., followed by a Celebration of Life at 5:00 p.m. at Winsteads’ Funeral Home, 500 Wildcat Dr., Portland, TX
