Anita Saenz

Anita Ochoa Saenz passed away on August 23, 2022. She was born in Portland, Texas on May 16, 1950 to Salvador and Tomasa Ochoa. She was very faithful and loved her family very much. She enjoyed traveling, hiking, and spending as much time as possible with all her family. She was married to the love of her life (Filemon Saenz) for 54 years.

She was preceded in death by her parents Salvador Sr. and Tomasa Ochoa, her sister Gloria Hernandez, and her brother Alfredo Ochoa.

She is survived by her husband Filemon Saenz Jr., her three sons Filemon Saenz III, Samuel Saenz (Mary), and Matt Saenz (Ashlynn). Grandchildren Jeremy Branham, Codey, Jacob, Brianna, Makayla, Christopher, and Stryder Saenz. Great-grandchildren Makynlie and Crew Branham. She is also survived by her brothers Salvador Ochoa Jr. (Alma), Ernesto Ochoa (Rita), Guadalupe Ochoa, Cornelio Ochoa (Sylvia), Larry Ochoa (Yolanda) and her sister Evelynn Nesmith (Raul).

Visitation will be held from 5:00-7:00 p.m. Monday, August 29, 2022 at Winsteads’ Funeral Home with the Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. that same evening. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, August 30, 2022 at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church with interment to follow at The Palms Memorial Gardens.
