Angelita Morales

Angelita Morales, 90, passed on December 21, 2022 following a second battle with breast cancer.  She was a devoted wife, Mother, homemaker, and friend. Angie was an avid gardener and enjoyed traveling with her husband and family.

She married Andres (Andy) Morales in 1956 and they lived in Portland, Texas. Together they raised 4 children Belinda Morales, Vanessa Gregory, Laura Morales, and Audrey Rose.  She is preceded in death by her husband Andy Morales, daughter Audrey Rose and granddaughter Amy Harris. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren; 8 great-grandkids.

A viewing will be held on January 6, 2023, at Winstead’s Funeral Home in Portland from 5 to 7pm.   A Rosary will be held after the viewing at 7:00 pm.   

A mass will be held at 10:00 am January 7, 2023, at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church 1008 Austin St, Portland, TX. The interment will be at Gregory cemetery with a reception following at the family home located at 706 E. Broadway Blvd.
