Angel E. Cuevas

Angel E. Cuevas, 76, of Kingsville Tx. passed away March 8, 2025. He was born on February 13, 1949 in Taft, Texas to Joventino Cuevas and Maria De Luz Espinoza. Mr. Cuevas worked for the Army Depot for 42 years as a CCAD Hydraulic Mechanic until retirement. He was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

Angel's Cuevas rank and awards. Infantry SGT in the U.S. Army's 1st Cavalry Division and 42 years at CCAD.

Military Awards: National Defense Service Medal; Expert (Rifle); Air Medal; Vietnam Service Medal; Vietnam Campaign Medal; Purple Heart and Bronze Star Medal.

He was preceded in death by his parents Joventino Cuevas, Maria De Luz Espinoza, daughter Rose Marie Cuevas two brothers, Manuel Cuevas, Jose Cuevas, four sisters Francisca Moreno, Esperanza Cuellar, Lala Cuellar, and Linda Zuniga.

He is survived by his loving wife Guadalupe "Babe" Guzman-Cuevas, 2 daughters Melissa Cuevas Angela Garcia, step children Ernie Guzman, Gina G. Butler, Gwyn G. Villarreal, 6 grand daughters Heather Cuevas, Angel Cuevas, Marissa Campos, Tori Morales, Gabby Morales, Gia Villarreal, 6 grandsons Eric Campos Sabestian Aleman, Juan Moreno Jr., Ernesto Guzman (Tres), Mateo Guzman, A.J. Villarreal, 7 great grand children siblings four brothers Joventino Cuevas Jr., David Cuellar, Danny Cuellar, Santiago Galvan, eight sisters Eloisa Benavides, Amelia Martinez, Mary Alice Lopez, Lupe Cuevas, Gloria Martinez, Mary Ann Cuellar Hernandez, Rosie Cuellar, Maria Adame and numerous nieces and nephews.
