Alvaro G. Ortiz passed away December 2, 2015. He was born on February 19, 1931 in Gregory, Texas to Miguel & Wenceslada (Gil) Ortiz.
He is survived by 2 sons Alvaro Ortiz Jr. and Daniel T. Ortiz; 2 daughters Carol Zamora and Diana Vela; 1 brother Luis Ortiz; 2 sisters Terry Ortiz and Angie Flores; 11 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held from 2:00 - 9:00 p.m. Friday, December 4, 2015 at the Limbaugh Funeral Home, with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 pm that same evening. Funeral mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, December 5, 2015 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Gregory with burial to follow at the Gregory Cemetery, Gregory, Texas.
