Alex Torres

Alejandro “Alex” Torres passed away March 19, 2014 at the age of 76. He lived in the Dallas/ Ft. Worth area for 36 years.

He was preceded in death by his father Nestor Torres; first wife Esmeralda Torres; brothers Ernesto Torres, Jr., Jesus Torres and Julian Torres.

He is survived by his mother Carmen Torres; son Alejandro Torres, Jr.; daughters Tracey Martinez and Cindy Torres of Alamogordo, New Mexico; 8 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; adopted children Michael and Paul Hernandez; brothers Juan Torres of Rockport, TX, Candelario  Torres of Portland, TX, Martin Torres of Portland, TX, Gavino Torres of Ingleside, TX and Felipe Torres of Portland, TX; sisters Ramona Torres Martinez of Hereford, TX, Nora Ortiz of Portland, TX, Guadalupe Munoz of Corpus Christi, TX and Margarita Riojas of Taft, Texas.

A visitation will be held from 4:00 – 9:00 p.m. Friday, March 21, 2014 at the Limbaugh Funeral Home with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. that same evening. Funeral mass will be celebrated at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, March 22, 2014 at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church in Portland.
