Clara Sowersby

Clara Sowersby passed away May 24, 2017. She was born August 1, 1931 in McGrew, Nebraska to John and Ruby Lacey Marshall. She had owned Clara's Diner in Lagarto, Texas. Clara was preceded in death by her parents and husband, William George Sowersby. She is survived by her significant other; David Theodore 'Ted' Schleuter; 1 daughter; Cheryl Dixon of San Antonio, Texas; 3 sons: Don Eugene Sowersby of Three Rivers, Texas; William Orn Sowersby of Wimberly, Texas and Allen Dale Sowersby of New Braunfels, Texas. 8 Grandchildren and 14 Great Grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Saturday, May 27, 2017 at 2 p.m. at Dobie Funeral Home Chapel with interment following in Sandia Cemetery.
