Floyd Norman Webb, a lifelong resident of Mathis, Texas entered eternal rest surrounded by his family in his home on May 8, 2017 at the age of 64 after a year long battle with cancer. Floyd was born in Corpus Christi, Texas on July 9, 1952 to Floyd Thurston and Patricia Graham Webb. He work on the family farm until he started a successful lifelong career in auto sales. On August 16, 1974 he married the love of his life, Cindy. He took pleasure in living a simple life, including eating great meals, traveling with his wife and friends and spending time with his children and grandchildren. He also enjoyed restoring classic cars and visiting auto shows. Floyd was a member of the First Baptist Church of Mathis; Rotary Club of Sinton, Future Farmers of America and the Coastal A's Car Club. He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Cindy; daughter, Natalie (Josh) Bibler; son; Floyd Samuel (Jessica) Webb; brother, John (Debbie) Webb; 2 sisters; Pamela Webb and Ann (Mike) Hosek. Also his beloved grandchildren; Jaden Bibler, Brody Bibler, Floyd Ryder Webb and Addison Webb. Floyd also leaves behind numerous nieced, nephews and long-time friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and sisters; Jeanette Webb and Sandra Derr. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. May 11, 2017 at First Baptist Church in Mathis. Interment will follow in Cenizo Hill Cemetery.
