Consuelo Olivo Huerta

Consuelo Olivo Huerta, age 84, died January 19, 2017. She was born March 7, 1932 in Edroy, Texas to Victor and Genoveva Olivo. She was preceded in death by husband Jose Martinez, 4 sisters, 1 brother, daughter Irma Cardona and two sons Rene Huerta and Raymond Huerta. She is survived by four daughters Delia Salinas of Phoenix, Arizona, Norma Negrete of Corpus Christi, Nora Montemayor of Kingsville, and Janie Martinez of Mathis, three sons Hector Huerta of Ft. Worth, Joey Martinez of Corpus Christi and Gilbert Martinez of Mathis, one sister Florinda Aguilar of San Antonio, and one brother Victor Huerta of Bay City, 21 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren. A rosary was recited at 7 p.m. on Sunday Jan. 22 at Dobie Funeral Home Chapel. Mass was celebrated at 10 a.m. Monday Jan. 23 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Burial followed in Cenizo Hill Cemetery.
