Clarence E. Moore

Clarence E. Moore, Jr., 85, passed away August 19, 2016 at his home in Orange Grove with his daughter and friends at his side. He is preceded in death by his father Clarence Moore, Sr. and his mother Anita Ehlers. He is survived by his son Danny Moore of Colorado and his daughter Candy McGarvey (Dennis) of Ohio. He leaves behind three grandchildren, Jennifer Adams (John), Erika Ko (Paul) and Alan Miny. One great granddaughter Karoline Ko. He shared his time and life with his close companion Annette Hackfeld and special friend Denise Hackfeld Floyd. He graduated from Orange Grove High School in 1948 and then joined the U. S. Air Force. Clarence retired as a Master Sergeant, having served 22 years and was a Vietnam Veteran. He was a recipient of the Bronze Star Medal. Clarence was a Masonic Member with Sunset Masonic Lodge #1388. He will be missed by not only his family but all of his close friends. Graveside services will be conducted at the Sons of Hermann Cemetery in Orange Grove by Dobie Funeral Home on August 25 at 11:00 a.m.
