Cruz Perez DeLeon

Cruz DeLeon, age 89, died July 17, 2016. He was born May 3, 1927 in Fredericksburg, Texas to Leandro and Prudencia DeLeon. He was preceded in death by his parents, 3 sisters Romana Guzman, Petra Diaz and Trinidad Garcia, brother Isidoro DeLeon and grandson Robert DeLeon, Jr. He is survived by wife Narcisa DeLeon of Mathis, two daughters Guadalupe DeLeon Torres of Sandia and Rose DeLeon Garza of Mathis, three sons Robert DeLeon and David Gutierrez both of Mathis and Cruz A. DeLeon of Corpus Christi, one sister Lucia Mercardo of Sandia, two brothers Julian DeLeon of Phoenix, Arizona and Santos DeLeon of Mathis, 19 grandchildren, 42 great grandchildren and 10 great great grandchildren. A prayer service will be at 7 p.m. July 20 at Dobie Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. July 21 at Dobie Funeral Home Chapel. Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. at the Coastal Bend State Veterans Cemetery in Corpus Christi.
