Tomasa Lopez Alaniz

Tomasa Lopez Alaniz died July 2, 2016. She was born September 22, 1923 in Mathis, Texas to Manuel and Maria Gonzales Lopez. Mrs. Alaniz was preceded in death by her husband, Francisco Sr. and son, Francisco Jr. Survivors include six daughters: Maria Garza, Juanita Huerta, Lupe Fuentes, Modesta Hernandez, Melba Henson and Rachel Showalter. Four sons: Jose Manuel Alaniz, Juan Alaniz, Samuel Alaniz and Benjamin Alaniz. One sister, Gabriela Ramos and one brother, Valentin Lopez. 44 grandchildren, 68 great grandchildren and 25 great, great grandchildren. A prayer service will be held 7 p.m.July 5, 2016 at Dobie Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. July 6, 2016 at Primera Iglesia Bautista with Reverend Rafael Murillo officiating. Interment followed in Descanso Eterno II Cemetery.
